The city centre was incredibly loud during the night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The elevator service was atrocious. it was painfully slow, and we had to repeatedly swipe our key cards to gain access. Even worse, the extractor fan in the bathroom was non-functional, leaving us with uncomfortable humidity.

Parking was quite inconvenient for those with cars, and I did find the room a bit noisy at times due to nearby restaurants and pubs.

I enjoyed my stay for 2 nights in a Standard King Room. The bed was cosy and the shower was amazing. Breakfast was excellent. The location was convenient, just a short walk to shops and eateries. Shae, the receptionist, was very professional and helpful. 😊

Free wi-fi worked great. Luggage storage was a lifesaver during check-out rush. Room was small.

the travelodge is in a fantastic location, just a short stroll to the cable car, te papa, and the beautiful waterfront. the bed in my standard king room was incredibly comfy, making for a great night's sleep. i also appreciated the on-site restaurant for dinner after a long day of exploring.

I had a lovely stay with a fantastic bed that was the most comfortable I've experienced on my trip and an impressive stay in a well-kept room, yet the noise from the street was quite disruptive at times.

The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, all within walking distance. The room was equipped with a microwave and fridge, perfect for heating up meals from local supermarkets. the lack of air conditioning made for an uncomfortable night, especially during warm summer days, and the twin beds were not ideal for a good night's sleep. Noise from nearby bars was also a concern, as windows needed to remain open for ventilation.

This place was just a proper fit for a brief hiatus in Wellington with fantastic value for money. I appreciated the friendly staff when I asked about local attractions—they recommended a great nearby cafe that I loved. Make sure to check the parking options ahead of time to avoid unexpected fees.
